The man responsible for sparking the gas station pump fire at the Ballard 76 on Oct. 8 turned himself into authorities last night, Seattle Police said. Det. Mark Jamieson says a friend of the man saw it in the news, and urged him to turn himself in. Detectives are doing follow-up work, and prosecutors will determine whether any charges will be filed.
