Calling all goblins and witches: Halloween Carnival at Loyal Heights on Friday

Posted by Meghan Walker on October 23rd, 2012

It’s time to figure out your costume, because this Friday, Oct. 26 is the Loyal Heights Community Center Halloween Carnival for families. There will be crafts, carnival games, pumpkin decorating, cookie decorating, and a cake walk.

From the flyer:

Join us for a fright fest of activities, games and challenges. Dress in costume and remember to bring a goodie bag. Festivities include carnival games, crafts, mini pumpkin decorating, cookie decorating, cake walk and ghastly prizes.

Tickets for the games are 50 cents, and all proceeds will go to support programs and scholarships at the community center. The organizers are also asking for volunteers to help set up, clean up and run the carnival games. Call 684-4052 to sign up to volunteer. The carnival is 6 to 8 p.m. and is at 2101 NW 77th St.
