In honor of Veteran’s Day, Brown Bear Car Wash (1800 15th Ave NW) will offer free car washes to all current or former members of the military. The free car washes will operate on an honor system; no verification or documentation will be required.
In a statement, Brown Bear Car Wash President Vic Odermat said, “The event is our way of demonstrating appreciation for those who currently serve our country and have made sacrifices on behalf of all of us.” Odermat founded the company in 1957 and is a U.S. Marine veteran. “It reflects our bond to the communities we serve, including a large armed services presence here.”
