The King County burn ban was reinstated and continues to be in place until further notice. The Puget Sound Clean Air Agency has issued a Stage 1 burn ban for our county due to cold weather and calm conditions. A Stage 1 burn ban means no burning allowed in fireplaces or wood stoves and no outdoor fires. Violations of the bans could result in a $1,000 fine.
