What better way to learn about emergency preparedness than through a zombie apocalypse? This Sunday, Jan 27, is Zombie Apocalypse Day at the Ballard Community Center, a family-friendly event about crisis preparedness. There will be over 20 vendors to give demonstrations and answer questions about their preparedness products. In addition, the Seattle Office of Emergency Management, Red Cross, Z Ultimate Self-Defense Studio and others will set up booths to talk about ways to be prepared in an emergency.
