Cast your vote on the Seattle Empty Bowls poster contest

Posted by Meghan Walker on January 24th, 2013

The 5th annual Seattle Empty Bowls event is a couple months away, and the organizers are asking for the community to vote on which bowl to feature on their poster this year. The Empty Bowls event is a soup dinner and fundraiser to benefit the Ballard Food Bank on March 24.

To vote, go to their Facebook page and click “like” on your favorite bowl. The bowl with the most “likes” will win. The bowl’s creator will win a small prize and it will be featured on their 2013 poster. The voting is open until Jan. 27.

At the Empty Bowls dinner on March 24, a $15 donation will get you your own handcrafted bowl filled with soup. This year, they’ll also have pet bowls; the money raised from the sales of the pet bowls will go to help get pet food for hungry animals.
