Update:
We have just been informed by SDOT that the road work on Ballard Bridge has been cancelled to lessen impact on all bridge traffic. It will be rescheduled sometime within the next month and we will update readers of the rescheduled date when information is known.

Seattle Department of Transportation Roadway Structures crew will be closing the southbound curbside lane on the Ballard Bridge today from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The lane will be closed for a short distance near the steel center span. During the road work all other lanes and sidewalks will remain open.
Southbound motorists should use caution and slow down when driving near the closed lane.
