World Spay Day specials offered at Seattle Animal Shelter

From February 22nd to March 1st Seattle Animal Shelter (2061 15th Ave W) will be offering low-cost spay and neuter surgeries to dogs, cats and rabbits. This service is being offered as part of the international World Spay Day campaign.

Seattle Animal Shelter is offering the service along with other shelters in King, Kitsap, Snohomish and Island counties.

Owners will pay minimal fees during the World Spay Day campaign period. The cost of surgeries will be discounted to $40 for all cats and kittens and $55-$100 for all dogs and puppies. Rabbit surgeries will also be lowered from the usual $75 fee.

This annual campaign aims to reduce the number of unwanted litters in our community and therefore prevent the increase in homeless animals.
