Mac and Cheese Mondays and Passover menu set to be served up at Golden Beetle

Golden Beetle (1744 NW Market St) have some exciting specials to offer this month. Tonight, the restaurant will begin their “build your own mac and cheese Mondays” and later in the month they will offer a special Passover menu.

For “Mac and Cheese Mondays” diners will be given a choice of pasta, sauce, cheese and a meat or veggie addition. Choices will range from truffle cream sauce or shrimp-parsley pesto to gruyere or smoked gouda and the addition of spicy lamb sausage or grilled jalapeno & caramelized onions. There is also a gluten free pasta option.

This special is in addition to the regular menu that will be offered on an ongoing basis every Monday night.

Coming later this month to Golden Beetle is chef Ariel Fishman-Larsh’s Passover menu. The menu will be offered from March 25 – April 2.

Owner and chef Maria Hines worked with Jewish chef Fishman-Larsh on creating the special menu. “While it won’t be created in a kosher kitchen, it does embody Passover with each item represented on the Seder plate,” said Hines.

The Passover menu will consist of five courses and is offered for $40, with wine pairings available for an extra cost. The menu is tailored to the individual, where guests will have each course placed before them to tell the story of Seder and how each course represents it. Click here to check out the Passover menu.

Reservations are recommended for both Mac and Cheese Mondays and the Passover menu by calling (206) 706 – 2977 or online by clicking here.
