There is still time left to donate blood this afternoon as part of the Ballard Boy Scout Troop 827 Blood Drive. The drive is on until 7 p.m. this evening in the Upstairs Hall at Ballard Elks Club (6411 Seaview Ave NW).
Blood donations will be taken and donated to Puget Sound Blood Center. “In less than an hour, you can touch the lives of three local patients. Like two newborn baby boys who both underwent open heart surgery at a Seattle hospital and received life-saving blood from Puget Sound Blood Center donors last weekend,” said Scout Troop representative Peter Quinn.
