Ballard drops Roosevelt in boys lacrosse

Jacob Marks and Josh Schwartzenberger teamed-up for eight goals to power Ballard to a 15-3 boys high school lacrosse defeat of Roosevelt, Tuesday at Lower Woodland Park playfield in Seattle.

Marks led all scorers with four goals and four assists, while Schwartzenberger delivered an even four goals.

The win gave the Beavers their fifth of the season, while Roosevelt dropped its third.

Roosevelt’s Jack Christenson, Eli Hall and James Leroux handled the Roughriders scoring.

Ballard (5-6-1) next faces Garfield (3-0-0) , Friday, April 12 in a 5 p.m. start at Upper Genesee Park in Seattle.   Roosevelt (4-3-0) next faces Nathan Hale (8-2-0) , Thursday, April 11 in a 5:45 p.m. start at Summit Fields #2.
