Ballard Ave features in Sunset Magazine

An article in the latest edition of Sunset Magazine features Ballard Ave as Seattle’s “New Ballard”. Writer Jess Chamberlain profiles some of the hot spots on Ballard Ave and describes the area as “one of the west’s most charming city streets.”

Ballard Ave is seen by Chamberlain as a place where “old-school fishing traditions mingle with a new wave of designers, artists and chefs.” She goes on to mention many Ballard favorites including The Walrus and the Carpenter, Staple & Fancy Mercantile, Ballard Pizza Company, The Palm Room and Hot Cakes Molten Chocolate Cakery. The Ballard Locks also features as a spot not to be missed.

This is the second national article featuring our neighborhood this month after the piece written on USA Today.com. Go Ballard!
