Meet the Seattle mayoral candidates tomorrow at a public forum in North Seattle

Tomorrow (Thursday, May 2), community members will have a chance to meet the Seattle mayoral candidates at a forum at Hamilton International Middle School (1610 N 41st St). The Seattle Mayoral Candidates Forum is a cross-district forum hosted by the 46th, 43rd, 36th, and 32nd District Democrats. Josh Castle, North and Central Seattle Mayoral Forum Committee Chair, tells us the forum will begin with a meet-and-greet with the candidates at 6:30, followed by the forum at 7 p.m. in the school’s Commons room.

The forum will be moderated by Enrique Cerna of KCTS, who will be selecting questions submitted by the hosting organizations, according to Castle. “This is an opportunity for voters to learn about the mayoral race,” Castle tells us. “All of the Seattle mayoral candidates will be together on one stage discussing and debating important issues, and sharing their ideas and proposed plans for the city we love that they would like to lead.”

The forum is free and open to the public. For more information or to RSVP, visit their Facebook page about the event.
