A teen girl was rescued after falling 15 feet at the sand dunes at Discovery Park on Monday afternoon, according to King 5. King reports that Seattle firefighters and a rope rescue team were called to the park to rescue the 17-year-old girl, who suffered a back injury in the fall.
The firefighters pulled the girl out on a backboard, and she was then taken by ambulance to Harborview Medical Center. There is no information on what caused the girl to fall.
