Today is the free helmet giveaway at Ballard Commons Park, happening from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The giveaway happens thanks to Seattle Children’s Hospital, who will be providing helmets for kids ages 1- to 18-years old. There will also be free multi-sports helmets available for children ages 5 to 18.
Helmets will only be given to children who are present at the giveaway. The helmets are given out on a first-come, first-serve basis, and there is a limited quantity, so get there early. Learn more about the giveaway here.
