Thunderstorms barreled through Seattle Friday night, sending pets scurrying and waking up many residents in Ballard and beyond. “I jumped straight out of bed while the kitties dashed under the bed!” exclaimed Cate in the forum.
Perhaps the most amazing photo was this one of lightning over the Space Needle, snapped by talented photographer Anthony May. “(I) lived here my whole life and never seen anything this intense,” he said on Twitter. His photo is being shared all over the Internet. (Used with permission).
