Edith Macefield, the woman who refused to sell her small house to developers for $1 million, is reaching legendary status in Ballard. We’ve followed and reported on her story over the years (here, here and here, to reference a few), and now Caffe Vita is helping immortalize her story through this video about how Ballardites are inspired by her. (Caution: there is some language unsuitable for youngsters)
Photo from a 2009 stunt by Disney, promoting their movie “Up,” which was inspired by Edith’s story.
Thanks, Caffe Vita, for sharing!
