Registration is now open for Hoopaholics, a youth basketball camp operating out of the Ballard Boys & Girls Club. Hoopaholics “little dribbler” program is for girls and boys ages 3 through 8, and will be on Saturdays starting Sept. 14 through Oct. 12 from 2 p.m. to 2:45. According to organizer Mike Johnson, the little dribblers program is designed, “to foster excitement and develop a good foundation of skills for young basketball players in a fun environment.”
The camp will be broken up into two different groups based on age and ability for players who are just starting out and for those who have some basketball experience. Johnson says they’ll go over fundamentals in skill development and game settings as part of the program.
