My Ballard reader Sally emailed in to report that a single family home is currently being demolished at 1715 NW 58th Street to make way for an apartment building.
According to the Department of Planning and Development’s Micro Housing Tracking List the complex will be home to six dwelling units with micros or sleeping room for 48 people.
According to Sally the developer is not required to provide for any parking and several trees are being removed from the property. “Adding 40+ people to this neighborhood is going to have an impact. This is being sneaked into our neighborhood without the people being impacted having any input at all,” writes Sally.
