According to our news partners at The Seattle Times, Ballard is set for yet another delectable pizza place. The owners of small chain Patxi’s are set to expand to Seattle and will open a store at 5323 Ballard Ave NW early next year.
The chain currently has 11 branches, nine in the Bay Area in San Francisco and two in Colorado, and recently won the readers poll in San Francisco Weekly for San Francisco’s best pizza.
Patxi’s specializes in deep-dish Chicago style pizza but also offers the usual thin crust fare that is more common in Seattle.
The Seattle Times contacted Paxti’s CEO Bill Freeman who said, “we are confident that we will rank with the best of them in Seattle. We can only ask that people give us a try, and we will let them be the judge of our food and hospitality.”
