Scout Troop 100 annual Christmas tree sale now on at St. Alphonsus Church

photoThe annual Boy Scout Troop 100 Christmas tree sale is now on in the parking lot of St. Alphonsus Church (5816 15th Ave NW). It is their one and only annual fundraiser and holds a special place in the Ballard community after being held for nearly 60 years.

Top-quality trees of all shapes and varieties are hand-picked by some of the troop’s fathers and sons.  The trees are also freshly cut and replenished every few days and are guaranteed fresh. The boys also donate many of the trees to those less fortunate.

Troop 100 have a huge heart and regularly volunteer their time and efforts to make positive contributions to the Ballard community. “These remarkable young men give back to Ballard with pride and enthusiasm,” write the Troop 100 leaders.

The scouts and their families look forward to hosting this special Ballard holiday tradition and fundraiser. All who are involved volunteer their time to ensure that the Christmas tree sale is a success. All money raised goes directly to Troop 100 and allows them to participate in many activities throughout the year.

“The scouts look forward to helping you pick out the freshest and most beautiful tree in Ballard,” write the Troop 100 leaders.

The tree lot is now everyday from noon – 9 p.m. and will remain open until December 20 or until they sell out of trees.
