Seattle Public Utilities set to offer utility discounts for low income households

Posted by Danielle Anthony-Goodwin on December 4th, 2013

Seattle Public Utilities recently launched their Utility Discount Program (UDP) that offers discounts for income-qualified customers on their utility bills for the next 18 months. Senior-only households, with all members over the age of 65, can qualify for assistance for three years.

To be eligible for the program your household must meet the income criteria. For example, if you’re a family of four, making less than $4,819 a month, you may qualify. Click here to view the income criteria table.
