Normal garbage pick up scheduled Friday morning despite chance of snow

Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is advising customers to treat Friday as a normal day for garbage, recycling, and food/yard waste collection despite the snow and slush in the overnight forecast.

Residents are advised to put their garbage, recycling, and food/yard waste out by 7 a.m. Friday morning to ensure pickup.

If your collection is missed, please leave your materials out for one more day. If your materials still have not been collected by 5 p.m. Saturday, please bring them inside until your next regularly scheduled pickup day.

Look up your collection day here or call (206) 684-3000.
