Posted by Danielle Anthony-Goodwin on December 30th, 2013

Seattle Public Utilities is set to close the North Transfer Station (1350 n 34th St) on January 20 next year in order to replace it with a modern and efficient facility that will meet the growing future needs of the city.

The new facility is set to open in 2016 and locals can learn more about the rebuild project by clicking here.

While it is closed, station users are encouraged to use the new South Transfer Station facility (130 S Kenyon St) in South Park. Directions and station hours for the South Transfer Station can be found here.
