Woodland Park Zoo celebrates the “12th Man” with admission discounts

Posted by Danielle Anthony-Goodwin on January 9th, 2014

Woodland Park Zoo (601 N 59th St) is behind the 12th Man as the Seahawks hit the field for the NFC divisional playoff. To celebrate the zoo will be offering an admission discount to fans showing their Blue Pride.

Starting this Saturday, January 11 visitors who are decked out in their Seahawks gear will receive $3 off zoo admission every day as long as the Seahawks stay alive in the run for the Super Bowl. The discount only applies to the child or adult wearing their Seahawks gear and can not be combined with any other offer.

For the first time, the zoo will also be broadcasting the Seahawks vs. Saints game in the zoo’s Rain Forest Food Pavilion on Saturday, January 11. The zoo normally closes at 4 p.m. daily but fans will be allowed to remain in the restaurant until the end of the game.

Get into the Seahawks spirit by watching the video below of Woodland Park Zoo’s lion cubs showing their 12th Man pride last year:
