Our sincere apologies it took this long. As one of the most popular neighborhood forums in the country, we became a spam magnet, attracting several hundred sophisticated attempts a day at creating spam accounts. But the new forum is equipped with advanced spam controls, and we’re able to open the door to everyone here.
Beyond an upgrade, one of the best new features is the ability to join or create your own neighborhood group with its own forum — public or private. We already have Ballard parents, Ballard beer, Loyal Heights, Talk Footie (for you soccer fans) and several more. (If you want to create an group, send us an email at tips@myballard.com with your username and we’ll get you set up.)
You can also private message people and embed photos, which is especially handy in the classifieds section. Yes, it’s free.
