It’s a chilly weekend here in Ballard. Enjoy it at some of the following fantastic events!

Friday, February 7:

  • Rainbow Bingo at Ballard Senior Center (5429 32nd Avenue Northwest) from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Sylvia will be calling a wild and crazy Bingo game! Singing a tune here and there and keeping us laughing the whole night through. Themed Baskets and Restaurant GC’s Prizes for each Bingo! Ticket prices are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.   • Comedy Sportz Seattle Show at new venue Atlas Theatre (3509 Fremont Ave N) at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Click here for more details and to buy tickets.

Saturday, February 8:

  • Ballard Little League registration event at Secret Garden Books (2214 NW Market Street) from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. All are welcome. Click here for more details.
  • Port and Anchor Pop Up Shop at 503 N 50th St from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. Port & Anchor is proud to host its second pop up shop featuring the art and jewelry collections of local artists Ruth Sandberg, Natalie Clements, Indigo Pathfinder, Karianne Gwinn, and Emilee Moorehouse. Stop by to check out their work and enjoy coffee, tea and treats.

Sunday, February 9:

  • Ballard Farmers Markets along Ballard Ave from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Click here to see this week’s specials.
  • Wax On Event at Anchors Down Bar (2016 NW Market St) from 4 p.m. Every Sunday at Anchors Down, bring in your vinyl records to listen to and share with fellow music junkies. All vinyl, all day, and an all day happy hour. We’ll take turns playing our favorite cuts and talk about music through the years. All music welcome!
  • Ballard Elks Lodge Ballroom Dancing (6411 Seaview Ave NW) from 7 p.m. – 10 pm. Live music will be provided by The Eddy Fukano Band. Singles and couples are welcome and cost is $7 per person.  Click here for more details.
