The Ballard Valentine’s Day Roundup

imageSo that “special” day of the year arrives tomorrow. No matter if you love or hate Valentine’s Day there is plenty to do in our neighborhood to ring in the occasion (if you want to).

Check out some special things happening in our ‘hood for V Day below:

  • Golden Beetle (1744 NW Market) is serving up a special four course meal full of flavors from the Eastern Mediterranean. The menu will feature items such as sunchoke soup, prawns and skirt steak. Cost is $50 per person and $25 for optional wine pairing.
  • Staple & Fancy (4739 Ballard Ave NW ) is breaking the traditional Valentine’s Day mold this year and putting on a communal dinner in their private wine cellar. Dinner starts at 6:30pm and they’ll be serving the same special Valentine’s menu as upstairs—only diners get everything on the menu, all served family-style. Dinner is $80 per person, with optional wine pairings for $40 per person.
  • Stoneburner (5214 Ballard Ave NW) is hosting a multi-course dinner on the rooftop of The Olympic Athletic Club. There will be fifteen tables for two set on the rooftop with reservations available at 5:30 p.m., 5:45 p.m., 6 p.m., 8:15 p.m., and 8:30 p.m. Cost is $195 per person
  • Skillet Diner (2034 NW 56th St) is hosting a special Valentine’s Dinner. See more details in flyer above.
