Development Update March 13: More subdivisions

Applications for subdivisions in Ballard have been coming in fast this week to the Department of Planning and Development (DPD).

834 NW 53rd St

A Land Use Application has been submitted to subdivide the site into two unit lots. This subdivision of property is only for the purpose of allowing sale or lease of the unit lots.  Development standards will be applied to the original parcel and not to each of the new unit lots.

6216 20th Ave NW

A Land Use Application has been submitted to allow a three story, 5-unit rowhouse structure with surface parking for four vehicles located on the site. Existing structures to be demolished. Review includes future unit lot subdivision.

1719 NW 64th St

A Land Use Application has been submitted to subdivide one parcel into two parcels of land. Proposed parcel sizes are: A) 2,199.8 sq. ft. and B) 2,799.9 sq. ft. Existing structures to be demolished.

A Land Use Application has been approved to allow a minor communication utility (Verizon Wireless) consisting of 12 panel antennas (three sectors, four antennas per sector) on the rooftop of an existing apartment building. The equipment cabinet is to be located at ground level.
