This Saturday Ballard Art Walk will be in full swing at venues all over the neighborhood from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. The monthly event will showcase local painting, glass art, sculpture, performance and more.
This month Blowing Sands Gallery (5404 Ballard Ave NW) will host ReStore’s 13th Annual Recycled Art Show. Artists were asked to submit works that bring new life to discarded materials.
The show includes original works from various mediums such as Bret Lyon’s “Movement No. 37” (pictured above).
“The show is described as an entertaining collection all based on the concept that inspiration is where you find it,” says Ballard Art Walk Volunteer Deidre Girard.
