For one night only, Populuxe Brewing is turning Northwest 49th Street between 8th and 9th Avenue Northwest into a time machine, as they host a 1980s themed prom party next Friday night from 6 to 9 p.m.
DJ Taco Supreme will spin vinyl dating back to the Reagan administration at Populuxe, with 80s movies playing at Domanico Cellars. There will also be photo stations set up, courtesy of Ballard Outdoor, Inc.
Along with the music, a pair of local food trucks will be on hand — with Delicious Authorithai serving up Thai cuisine at Domanico, while Don Lucho will be offering Cuban sandwiches at Populuxe.
Last but not least, in true prom night fashion, a king and queen will be crowned.
