The nighttime work scheduled as part of the Holman Rd NW Paving Project will be starting next week. During the initial stages of grinding and paving work, the westbound lanes of Holman Rd NW between 7th Ave NW and Greenwood Ave N will close from Monday, June 9, at 8 p.m.
Traffic will be shifted to the eastbound lanes of Holman Rd NW, where one lane will remain open in each direction. The lane closures and traffic reconfiguration will remain in place until June 17, when paving is complete.
After the westbound lanes are completed, eastbound lanes of Holman Rd NW will then be closed for grinding and paving between 7th Ave NW and Greenwood Ave N, and traffic will be shifted to the westbound lanes, with one lane open in each direction. This paving is estimated to be complete by Friday, June 27.
The paving work will be weather dependent, and scheduled dates are subject to change. Residents are advised that grinding is noisy and is scheduled to take place between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. on the nights of June 9 and June 18.
