Rotary Scavenger Hunt set for tomorrow

Ballard Rotary will host their inaugural Scavenger Hunt from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. tomorrow (Saturday, June 7).

The scavenger hunt-styled race takes participants on a journey through Ballard on foot. Teams of up to four people stop at local businesses and other location while following a clue trail, completing mental and physical tasks and taking pictures in an effort to collect the most points.

This inaugural event is set to raise both awareness and funds for the projects and programs Ballard Rotary supports including the Ballard Boys and Girls Club, scholarships for graduating seniors from Ballard High, the Global Reading Challenge for 4th and 5th grade students from Adams, Loyal Heights and Whittier elementary schools, and many other youth focused programs in our community.

In terms of prizes, Rotary has it covered as the 1st Place Team will win a $500 Cash Prize.

All participants are invited to enjoy lunch and live music following the hunt at American West Bank (2237 NW 57th Street).

Tickets cost $100 per team (up to 4 people per team) and can be purchased online. Email ballardrotaryhunt@gmail.com for more
information.
