Movie lovers and suspense fans will have a new way to take in some classic films at Percy’s & Co. (5233 Ballard Ave NW) the next eight Monday nights.

Every Monday between July 7 and August 24, the neighborhood bar will be showing a classic Alfred Hitchcock movie on their patio big screen starting at dusk, with first come, first serve seating, and free popcorn. The bar will also be offering happy hour specials throughout the night — which includes $2 off all cocktails, beers, and glasses of wine, along with deals on salads, potted pork rillettes, and crispy potatoes. Here’s a look at the lineup:

July 7: Rear Window

July 14: Dial M For Murder

July 21: To Catch A Thief

July 28: Vertigo

August 4: North By Northwest

August 11: Psycho

August 18: Birds

August 25: Frenzy

Hitchcock is remembered as one of the foremost, if not greatest director and producer of suspense and psychological thriller films of all-time. He was nominated for best director at the Academy Awards five times, with Vertigo, Rear Window, North by Northwest, and Dial M for Murder all named to the American Film Institute’s list of ten greatest American mystery films of all-time in 2008.

All movies are provided by Rain City Video (6412 32nd Ave NW). For more information on the weekly screenings, click here.
