Normal garbage pick-up for Independence Day

Posted by Danielle Anthony-Goodwin on July 4th, 2014

By Joe Veyera

While local, state, and federal offices will be closed on Friday, all garbage, food and yard waste, and recycling collections will be on normal schedule in Seattle this Fourth of July. According to Seattle Public Utilities (SPU):

Collection is normal on all holidays except for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. Following each of those holidays, service will be delayed by one day for the rest of the week.

As always, customers should put out their containers for collection no later than 7 a.m.

SPU says that customers can report a Friday missed garbage, yard waste or recycling collection after 8 a.m. on Monady by calling (206) 684-3000 or by visiting their website.

I’m impressed, I must say. Rarely do I encounter a blog that’s both
equally educative and interesting, and let me tell you, you have hit the nail
on the head. The issue is something that too few people are speaking intelligently about.
I’m very happy that I found this during my search for something concerning this.

Good day! I know this is somewhat off topic but I was wondering
which blog platform are you using for this site?
I’m getting sick and tired of WordPress because I’ve had problems with
hackers and I’m looking at options for another
platform. I would be great if you could point me in the
    direction of a good platform.

Hello, I think your website might be having browser compatibility issues.
When I look at your website in Chrome, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer,
it has some overlapping. I just wanted to give you a quick heads up!
    Other then that, awesome blog!
