While the middle of August is certainly no time to be asking the question, “Do you want to build a snowman?” but those at the Loyal Heights Community Center (2101 NW 77th St) might have the urge to do just that next Friday evening.

The community center will host its first-ever outdoor movie screening on August 22, with a screening of the Disney hit “Frozen,” from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Those attending are encouraged to arrive early to snag a spot on the lawn. Admission is free for the screening (but donations are welcome), while popcorn and snacks will be available for purchase.

For those looking to make the evening a “Dinner and a Movie” affair, Papa Bois Food Truck will be on hand, with their Caribbean and Southeast Asian fusion fare.

At the end of the show, a raffle will be held for a child’s bicycle.

For more information, check out the event’s Facebook page here.

While the movie night is still over a week away, the forecast from Weather.com currently calls for mostly sunny skies and a high of 78 degrees.
