Nearby news: Man attacked by group of teens in Greenwood

The My Ballard team received reports of another group attack in nearby Greenwood from reader Jennifer. According to reports, a male in his early 40s was attacked yesterday afternoon by a group of five teens in a parking area near Greenwood P-Patch at NW 88th St. Check out more details from Jennifer’s Facebook post below:

Attention Greenwood friends: There was a brutal attack today on one  adult person by 5 tweens or teens in Greenwood in a parkstrip near the Greenwood P-Patch at NW 88th St. It happened in broad daylight at around 3:30 – 4 p.m. today (Wednesday) which put the victim in the hospital with  severe head injuries.

Please PLEASE keep your heads up, try not to walk  alone, carry mace and notify 911 if you see anyone suspicious or if you are getting harassed or attacked. They are still looking for the attackers so if you know anything or people with security cameras in businesses please contact SPD.
