According to Seattle Eater, identical twins Alyssa Lewis and Natalie Delucchi are opening a second location of their well loved Capitol Hill establishment, Pie Bar, in Ballard.

The sisters will be offering locals a selection of their desserts and cocktails in the historic Bagdad Theater which used to house Great Harvest Bread Company.

Eater reports that the Ballard space will be a “larger clone” of the Capitol Hill location, which opened in 2013, and will include a much larger kitchen. “My carousel pie oven in Ballard is as big as my entire kitchen in Capitol Hill. Right now, I am making 70 pies a day on a busy night in Capitol Hill’s tiny little space,” Lewis told Seattle Eater.

The larger kitchen at the Ballard spot will bake the delicious goods for both locations, allowing for nearly 90 pies to bake in 90 minutes. The menu is set to feature sweet favorites including the strawberry rhubarb, Razzle Blue and sour cherry in addition to a variety of savory pot pies.

Pie Bar is set to open at 2218 NW Market St between Christmas and the beginning of 2015.
