In honor of October’s Dog Adoption Month, Li’l Woody’s (2040 NW Market St) has created the “Cutie and the Beast Burger” to raise both money and awareness for local dogs that are in need of homes.

The special burger is available from today through Monday, October 27, with a portion of proceeds going directly to Seattle based dog adoption agency Motley Zoo.

“In the spirit of all good dog lovers, we’re excited to be offering up a delicious burger that man or beast will love, all while trying to get some of these little dudes new homes,” says Marcus Lalario, owner of Li’l Woody’s.

The “Cutie and the Beast Burger” is available for both dogs and their humans and is a delicacy filled with peanut butter, apples, Swiss cheese, bacon, and a 1/4 lb burger patty.

The special week long celebration will also feature giveaways including itmes from Crazy Rebels dog collars, All the Best Pet Care, Petbox and Green Juju (organic dog food).

Motley Zoo Animal Rescue, located in Redmond, is a non-profit foster-based animal rescue which assists local, national, and international dogs in need. The unique organization has no shelter facility and instead places rescue dogs with foster families where they experience special one-on-one attention while staff work to find the dogs their perfect forever home.

Stop by Li’l Woody’s this week, enjoy a “Cutie and the Beast” and support Motley Zoo.
