Friday, October 31

  • Halloween Events are happening all over Ballard. Check out our complete Halloween roundup here.
  • Live music at Conor Byrne Pub (5140 Ballard Ave NW) at 9 p.m. Featuring Smoking Bill, Purty Mouth, & Strange Jerome . Tickets $5 with a costume, $8 without one. Click here to purchase tickets and for more information.

Saturday, November 1

  • Auditions for Northwest Boychoir at University Heights Center (5031 University Way NE) from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Boys ages 6-9 are invited to audition for the Northwest Boychoir. No previous music instruction required – just a love of music and good ears. Click here for more information.
  • Free SAT Diagnostics Test at Sylvan Learning (2232 Northwest Market Street #8) from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Find out how ready you are for the big test. Please RSVP first though at (206) 297-4595.
  • EBCA Adopt A Street Cleanup along 14th Ave NW from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. (Sign in at Blowing Sands Glass – 5805 14th Ave NW). Join your neighbors for EBCA’s biannual Adopt A Street Cleanup. EBCA has been cleaning up 14th Ave NW since the Fall of 2005 thanks to the incredible local volunteers who organize this event. Picking up trash is a lot more fun than it sounds and is something the whole family can do together.
  • Simple Home Remedies: How to Make Your Own Herbal Medicine at Dandelion Botanical Co (5424 Ballard Ave) from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. Join class 4 of a 5 week course designed to teach you how to make your own herbal, medicinal products.  Learn how to make your own luscious body creams and essential oil sprtizers. Cost is $40.
  • PNA Día de los Muertos/Day of the Dead Celebration at Phinney Community Center (6532 Phinney Ave N) from 5:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend this free family friendly fiesta. Click here to learn more.
  • Wide World of Sports Costume Party at Kangaroo and Kiwi Pub (2026 NW Market St) from 8 p.m. Come dressed as your favorite sports star and have the chance to win the $100 best dressed prize.
