Bloom to host “From Seattle to the Cyclades” pop-up dinner

Seattle cook Joe Holberg is débuting his first pop-up dinner at Bloom in Ballard (5410 17th Ave NW) this coming Monday, December 15.

Holberg has traveled around the world cooking on yachts and has returned to Seattle to share some of the influences and his experiences over the years.

“As a yacht chef, I often travelled to very remote locations where most of my provisioning was done through open markets which gave me a flexible approach and a great appreciation of the simple yet delicious flavors of the Mediterranean,” says Holberg.

The pop-up dinner will comprise of five courses and include delicacies such as spiced sous-vide lamb sirloin, grilled octopus and dark chocolate terrine. Click here to check out the complete menu.

Dinner is priced at $42 per person with gratuity included. Reservations and advance payment are required and seating is limited.
