The Laura Bee Designs team will be celebrating their final Saturday in the neighborhood before permanently packing up the retail location (6418 20th Ave NW) this weekend.

After 12 years of retail operation Laura Bee Designs is retiring its bag line and will be transitioning the jewelry line to online and wholesale only.

The team is inviting locals to stop by and have a donut to celebrate a dozen sweet years tomorrow, January 31, from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. The shop will also have fabric, notions, jewelry and other treasures available at great prices. Click here to find out more about the sale.

“While it’s time to shift the business and to take a break from retail, I am so thankful that my staff and I were to spend 12+ years making bags and getting to know our neighbors in this community,” says designer Laura Buzard.

Buzard will now focus on her jewelry line and other new (and not-yet-announced) projects. She is transforming her retail storefront into a studio space, and looks forward to hosting occasional events there.
