Have you seen Spot in Ballard?

Update:

Spot has been returned home safely. Sean thanks everyone for their support in looking for him.

Original Post:

My Ballard reader Sean emailed in to report that his family dog, Spot, has been missing since 6 p.m. last Friday, February 13.

Spot went missing from his family home at NW 59th St and 20th Ave NW.

Spot is a basset/dachshund mix , white in color with very pronounced black spots.

Sean is currently out of town and his house-sitter was not expecting “such a hasty jail break.” They tracked Spot visually for five hours on Friday night and he was last seen a few blocks from home around NW 61st St and 23rd Ave NW.

“Unfortunately we do not have his dog tags on him, but he is wearing a bark collar with his name written on it. We are expecting him to eventually make his way back home” writes Sean.

If you have seen Spot contact Sean at (206) 229-0966 or Wade at  (206) 554-1146. Sean is offering a $100 reward for Spot’s safe return.
