Development Update April 2: One subdivision and a design review meeting

One subdivision decision and a second design review meeting for a six-story structure make up today’s development update from the City of Seattle’s Department of Planning and Development (DPD) as posted in the Land Use Information Bulletin.

Decision:

10449 Alderbrook Pl NW

A Land Use Application has been approved to subdivide one development site into four unit lots. The construction of residential units are under Project #6357388. This subdivision of property is only for the purpose of allowing sale or lease of the unit lots. Development standards will be applied to the original parcel and not to each of the new unit lots..

Appeals of this decision must be received by the Hearing Examiner no later than April 16, 2015.

Notice of Design Review Board Second Recommendation Meeting: 

2003 NW 57th St

A Land Use Application has been received to allow a 6-story structure containing 118 residential units above 14 live-work units. Parking for 102 vehicles to be provided below grade. Existing structure to be demolished.

The second design review board meeting is scheduled for Monday, April 20, at 6:30 p.m. and will be held at Ballard Community Center (6020 28th Ave NW). The first meeting was held on March 16.

The Director will accept written comments to assist in the preparation of the early design guidance through April 20, 2014.  You are invited to offer comments regarding important site planning and design issues, which you believe, should be addressed in the design for this project.
