A My Ballard reader, who wishes to remain anonymous, emailed in to report that two vandals were captured on a home security camera (pictured below) smashing car windows with a metal pipe on Sunday, March 22, between 12:30 – 1 a.m.
The vandalism occurred near Whitman Middle School (9201 15th Ave NW) and also on 3rd Ave NW near NW Market St.
According to the reader, the cars targeted were associated with high school students from Ingraham and Ballard High Schools.
“Their malicious vandalism caused extreme damage totaling over $10,000,” writes the reader.
