Kick It Boutique is on the move and will open in the former Romanza Gifts spot at 2206 NW Market St this July.
“This is a dream come true,” says owner and founder Angela Rae. “We are excited to set up our burgeoning Ballard business in this historic landmark building in the heart of the community that has supported us for nearly a decade.”
The search began for a new location earlier this year when the Nordic Heritage Museum notified all tenants of their plans to build the new museum along the 2600 block of NW Market where the store is currently located.
“We will miss this old building,” Rae notes, “but we are delighted to learn the NHM will get construction under way for their new state of the art facility.”
The team is busily building out the former Romanza Gifts space and preparing new lines to feature in the store.
Kick It will continue to operate in its current location through June, including a progressive moving sale at the end of the month. The new store is set to open on July 3.
