Ballard’s Peddler Brewing Company is now taking registrations for their summer cornhole league, appropriately named “Suds n’ Sinkers.” The cornhole league will meet every Sunday between July 12 and August 16 from 12 noon to 6 p.m.
The league will take teams of between two and four people, at a cost of $25 per person. Teams will get five weeks of play, plus a one-day playoff tournament in week six. There will be two matches per week; one match consists of two games to 21. Each member will also get a league t-shirt, and $1 off beers all day on Sundays through the duration of the league. Winners will take home special prizes.
Peddler says teams should come up with “a clever and slightly inappropriate team name” and will accept “beer and/or bicycle puns, innuendos and double entendres are encouraged but keep it PG-13.” Register your team before the deadline on July 10 at noon.
