FRIDAY, October 23:

  • Loyal Heights Community Center Halloween Carnival (2101 NW 77th St) 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. Grab your little ghosts and goblins and head to Loyal Heights Community Center for a night of frightfully fun (but not too scary) activities, games, and challenges.
  • BHS Playmakers present Eurydice at Earl Kelly Performing Arts Center (1418 NW 65 St) from 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available online. Adults: $15, Students and Seniors: $10
  • Live Music

SATURDAY, October 24:

  • King County Free Clinic at Seattle Center. Free dental, optical and medical exams available for all residents. No ID required. The clinic will operate on a first come first served basis with admission tickets being distributed each morning from the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall (301 Mercer Street) at 5 a.m.
  • Stop Brewing’s 2nd Birthday Celebrations at 1108 NW 52nd St from noon. Food, entertainment and beer releases aplenty.
  • Thrill the World at Ballard Health Club (2208 NW Market St) at 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. Make a zombie costume, learn to dance the Thriller and join the international synchronized dance event.
  • Nicklesville Theatre Event present by Playback Theatre from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. at Ballard Eagleson VFW (2812 Market Street). Event aims to open dialogue about Nicklesville opening in Ballard through real stories represented on stage. Cost is $10 donation at the door per person.
  • Ray’s Café Pumpkin Carving Event at 6049 Seaview Avenue NW from 3 p.m. to close. All age event, free pumpkins available and special drinks on offer.

    • Jazz at Egan’s Ballard Jam House (1707 NW Market St). 7 p.m. The Return of Two Swinging Chicks, Katy Bourne and Cara Francis – with Nelda Swiggett (piano), Paul Gabrielson (bass) and Steve Korn (drums) $10 cover. 9 p.m. Vocalist extraordinaire Tim Carson with Don Garberg (piano), Kevin McCarthy (bass) and Ryan Tapert (drums).
    • Truly Low, Hums and The Valley at Sunset Tavern (5433 Ballard Ave NW) at 9 p.m. Tickets $15.

SUNDAY, October 25:

  • Teenspace Ghostbusters Screening at Ballard Library (5614 22nd Ave NW) from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. Free popcorn and prizes available.
  • Live Music
    • Open mic at Conor Byrne Pub (5140 Ballard Ave NW) sign-up at 7:30 p.m.
    • San Fran Folk Artist- Sean Hayes with Tim Carat at Tractor Tavern (5213 Ballard Ave NW) at 8 p.m. Tickets $20.
    • Mos Generator, Curse of the North and Year of the Cobra at Sunset Tavern (5433 Ballard Ave NW) at 8 p.m. Tickets $8.
