The long awaited arrival of Ethan Stowell’s gastropub, Bramling Cross, is here! The watering hole and eatery opened this week at 5205 Ballard Ave.

Bramling Cross, named after a certain type of beer hop, is housed inside the former Portalis Wines space and boasts an array of mainly booth seating.

There is plenty in the way of drink options at the gastropub, including 8 taps of “always local” beer, a selection of wine,  over 50 bottled beers and ciders and cocktails to boot.

In terms of food, the team at Bramling Cross is serving up plates of pub fare which includes fresh shellfish, smoked trout, chicken wings, The Bramling Burger with cheese, and a whole fried Dynamite Chicken.

Bramling Cross is open 5 p.m. – 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 5 p.m. – midnight Friday and Saturday.

Reservations can be made online or by calling (206) 420-8192.
