Help the Ballard Historical Society launch a local project

The Ballard Historical Society is holding a kick-off party and informational meeting for their new project.; Mapping Historic Ballard.

What: Mapping Historic Ballard: Shingletown to Tomorrow

The Mapping Historic Ballard: Shingletown to Tomorrow project will build an accessible, living map of Ballard’s past. The project aims to update and digitize previous historic resource surveys and conduct new and contemporary surveys. The Ballard Historical Society has been given a grant from the City of Seattle’s Department of Neighborhoods in order to build this interactive mapping project.

The BHS needs volunteers in order to make this exciting opportunity come to fruition. The Project Steering Committee will train all volunteers. There will be live music, as well as refreshments.
